Meet our Panelists:
Sarah Tone, Communications Manager

Sarah joined the 2017 Canada Summer Games in 2014, on secondment from her role as Marketing Coordinator at Sport Manitoba. As the communications manager, she collaborated with communications staff and volunteers working in media relations, crisis communications, web and social media, publications, venue development, and special events. A Creative Communications graduate, Sarah has an adoration for sport, entertainment, and the planet, is a dedicated volunteer, and is the event organizer of Between the Pipes: a sponge hockey tournament fundraiser held in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

David Hultin, APR, Communications Coordinator

David joined the 2017 Canada Summer Games via HSC Winnipeg where he brought the rigour of effective, consistent messaging, audience understanding, and reputation management to the hospital’s change projects. Several summers back thanks to a “other duties as assigned’ clause in his contract with the Winnipeg Goldeyes, his alter ego was the Arby’s Oven Mitt as he ran the bases with a pack of kids in hot pursuit! He can be found on the field with a baseball glove or on a sheet of ice with a curling broom when he isn’t chasing his offspring.

Rielle Nault, Web & Social Media Coordinator

Known for being an avid reader, writer, and communicator in both French and English, Rielle’s bottomless curiosity and eagerness to learn drives her communications interests. After discovering the significant power of the digital space, she pursued her studies in Public Relations, Marketing and Strategic Communications at the University of Winnipeg. In July 2016, she was recruited to work for the 2017 Canada Games and just recently finished her 13-month contract as the Web and Social Media Coordinator. You can now find Rielle spending time at the lake planning her next adventure!
