National Awards

CPRS National Awards of Excellence

The annual CPRS National Awards of Excellence recognize and reward outstanding public relations programs and projects across the country. Established in 1962, the awards salute outstanding public relations campaigns, internal and external programs and tactics, and the dedication and contribution of public relations professionals like you. The awards also encourage continuous improvement in the practice of public relations.

The awards are exclusive to CPRS members and are a tremendous source for profile and prestige for individuals and teams as they showcase Canada’s best public relations talent at work. Winners are recognized at the CPRS Awards Gala dinner at the annual CPRS National Conference in late spring. Learn more.

Other Major Awards

The CPRS Major Awards are Canada’s most coveted public relations honours for individuals and Member Societies. Unlike the National Awards of Excellence, where you submit your own work, Major Awards candidates are nominated by peers. These awards recognize exceptional involvement in the profession. Both nominee and nominator must be CPRS members in good standing. Note: Due to the stringent criteria, some Major Awards may not be awarded annually. No entry fee required. Learn more.
