Outgoing president Jason Permanand chaired the Annual General Meeting on May 22, 2014, which was attended by former chapter presidents, members, and outgoing and incoming board members.
Changes to the by-laws were approved. Revisions were previously made to the chapter’s by-laws to strengthen governance and align with recent changes made by CPRS National’s by-laws.
Jason thanked the 2013-2014 board for its commitment, and recognized member Carolyn Rickey, APR, for her 15 years as Accreditation Chair Liaison on the CPRS National Council on Accreditation where she has acted as grader, regional examiner and accreditation liaison.
Following the formal business portion of the meeting, Mentorship Director Steve West on behalf of the board recognized Jason’s devotion, organization and commitment to CPRS Manitoba.
