CPRS Manitoba Presents ‘Donor Communications: Why They Give’
CPRS Manitoba will host an upcoming lunch and learn event on Thursday, Feb. 23 at The MET with Julie Mikuska sharing her expertise as a fundraising consultant.
“It’s not about you,” she says, “and it’s not about the money.”
According to the results of the recent professional development survey administered by CPRS Manitoba, donor communications are of great interest to members.
As modern communicators, we look forward to gathering plenty of insights through a discussion of the following.
“Communicating with donors requires an understanding of why people give,” muses Julie. “Once you understand, you will write in a way that appeals to those who are interested in your cause, brings them on board with you, and keeps them on board.”
