Luncheons:
The lunch and learn format allows for you to mix and mingle with other practitioners and hear tales from the field by seasoned PRers on a variety of relevant subjects.
Workshops:
CPRS’s fall and spring workshops are designed for hands-on learning. The topical workshops pack a lot of punch into a half or full day session at an especially affordable rate for members.
Mini-conference:
The CPRS winter mini-conference covers a variety of current industry topics with a chance to rub shoulders with some of Canada’s most practiced PR vets who are serving on the national CPRS board. Stay tuned for more information.
National Conference:
The annual conference offers a variety of seminars and presenters, attracting practitioners from across the country to a different Canadian city each year.
CPRS Manitoba is proud to be hosting two national CPRS board members as keynote speakers at our mini conference this September 23rd. Sean Kelly APR, FCPRS will detail how Canadian offshore regulators dealt with intense public scrutiny following the BP blowout in the Gulf of Mexico. Sandra Thornton, BGS, APR, FCPRS will present methods to keep the inside onside and discuss the importance of internal communications when your organization is facing a crisis – real or potential.
